I have my first wit in the kettle. Refractometer readings are showing I have 33L of 14 Brix wort. My preboil target is 33L of 10 Brix wort. By my calculations, I need to dilute with 11L of water?
Don't think I can fit that much in the kettle, I can always drain some out and recalc the dilution, but I am concerned something is up with this recipie. I used Pilsner Malt, Rolled Oats and White Flour.
I normally get 65-70% efficiency. Is the Flour the reason for the high efficiency?
