Wig And Pen Open Day This Saturday

The Canberra brewing club are lucky enough to have been invited to the Wig n Pen this saturday by the head brewer for an open day/brew day. We have put forward nominations of what to brew on the day and we will get a chance to go through every process of brewing that chosen beer throughout the day. Once the beer is ready to serve its going behind the bar and sold to the public. For those that dont know the Wig and Pen its a small scale commercial brewery that brew their own beer on the premises of a great little, old english style pub. Beer that is already on tap will be served through the day as well as lunch! I'M EXCITED! to see this brewery in action. Will let you know how it goes :beer:

I want to give that hop thingy me bob a go where the beer line goes through the cyclinder of hops to give you that fresh hop buzz. Whats it called again TL? You had a link on here not to long ago?

Yes, I understand that Richard will be running the "Ad Hop" IPA through Randall the enamel animal!! It's in a double page spread on the Wig and Pen in today's food section of the Canberra Times!!

It's more correctly known as an organoleptic hop transducer module!

Either way - it rocks!

Tried the Hop Ale last weekend and loved it... SWMBO didnt, You have to be a hop head to like it, its VERY flavoursome...

Sensational day! Great people, great discussions, great beer, great atmosphere, great fun and great dim sims! Cant wait to taste the Ruby Smooth in a couple of weeks. Cheers for organising Stagger n Gazza and cheers for having us Richard!
