I want to build a movable brewey setup for AG. I would like to get other people input as to which pump would be better.

what are the differences btw march and Peristaltic, and how are they best used?

I see the advantage of Peristaltic not needing to be primed, but is thatreally an issue?

look at how the pumps work

March is a fully sealed magnetic drive with higher delivery volumes
peristaltic is a positive displacement pump with lower delivery volume
you choose which suits you best and maybe even a poll might help you decide

priming is not an issue if the pump is mounted correctly under the line of your mash tun / hlt as it will be gravity primed.

Kleiny - top answer

Dug - ashame you just missed out on a march pump bulk buy (under gear & equipment section).

I'd suggest a search, lots of info on both pumps, including plans to build your own peristaltic if that floats your boat. There was even a poll a few months back...

I did a poll and the results were fairly even.

In the end I went for March pump.
Only because availability and price.
Peristaltic pumps are not so easy to come across for the volumes required V price.
Then the bulk buy happened.
Perhaps give Karl from process pumps a call and see what you can do.

But as stated above each to their own and you will be happy which ever you decide
