Hi folks,

with a new mash-tun in the brew cave and an ever increasing interest in decoctions I am super keen to get a wooden ladle for pulling out the grain from the mash without scratching the inside of the new tun.

does anyone have links or info on such?

I found this, which looks good

I say pour some oil on that slippery slope!
It maybe something you have to make yourself, if you do, make me one too!! You could checkout the markets/fairs they usually have a hipster cutting board stall that may have or could make something for you.

They sell special boards for cutting up Hipsters, wow I am behind the times. (edit: dad joke/pun #272)

^that is the cheapest, fastest and most sensible option...

We have one in the kitchen that I use a bit for brewing, esp stirring cereal mashes, extracting hops/grain/break from the kettle and just general stirring when I can't find my giant eggflip mash paddle

yeah well we had soup last night and the mrs had to use a mini ladle as the other one was in the brewcave - i need some dedicated brewtensals
