What's With The Portakegs On Ebay?

I don't know if they are made anymore, they were made by a compay in Gosford NSW.

I bought one on ebay a while back and have converted it to hook up to a CO2 cylinder. The 1st version was just a piece of copper tube silver soldered to a used soda syphon bulb. This was placed in the bulb holder and you connected the CO2 line to the tube. That leaked a bit and it was a bit of a pain in the ass to use.

I have now got another airline coupler as my CO2 connection (the kegs use a form of chromed brass Ryco airline coupler as the beverage out port). The ports on the keg are 1/2 BSPP (parallel thread) and seal on the machined shoulder, I used a parallel thread bipple with two captive O rings to and airline coupler with a female thread in the back. This works really well.
