In your opinion what has been the most interesting post.

I found the 'No Chiller metod' one of the most useful .

The 'beer lables and logos ' had definately added some colour due to some proffesional input .

Ther must be heaps others what was your favourite ?

Pumpy,

I definitely agree. The 'no Chiller method' is absolutely the best thread that I have come across this year but I have yet to try it out :( . As a (Relatively) new AG'er (10 brews) I am loathe to try out anything new before my technique has a good grounding. The 'Beer labels and logos' is excelent thanks to Franko's talented talent (If you get my drift?). That said, I am absolutely stuffed & am now going to bed. All the best mate.

Beers & Cheers,
Pete.

Hi,

I reckon the roggenbier post by tony was the best. Inspirational, good photos, unique, it had it all.

The "No Chiller" thread has been intriguing. Watching the two opposing arguments unfolding was fascinating. The "No Chiller" Heretics versus the "Chill at all cost, Flat Earth Society". :p

Bring on the Revolution!!!! :beerbang:

Even more interesting, is the apparent success of the trials performed, with many of the guinea pigs reporting percieved improvements in their beer

I also found the thread concerning the birth of Ross's bar a good one to follow, and the spin off bar related threads that it caused. All inspirational material, and a number of benchmarks to follow.....

Havent found an uninteresting thread yet......

The one that has it hands down is the FISH TANK GRAVEL FILTER !!

for a fraction of a nano second there was that .."That would work!?!?"

then the "How the f$#$k heck am I going to clean that !!"

get you thinking though....

The "skunk fart" thread for me, full of great APA recipes :chug:

Ross's bar :p got me off my Arse to finish mine and the no chill which turned me into a Heretic :D :D I laughed out loud when I read that. :)

I think I will have to say "The No Chiller Method."

The reason is that it really does seem to dispel with one of the most stubborn myths in the world of homebrewing. It got sidetracked a bit and for a while became a sort of war where the 'pro-chill' group, and perhaps understandably, felt that the idea that 'no chill' is better was what was being said, while I think the main point, and a very important one too, was that the conclusion has to be that it is certainly not necessary to chill the wort in order to make great beer. :)

I don't have a chiller and had been doing alright without it so that was my feeling anyway, but it was great to have such a big discussion and several experienced brewers testing out the idea.

It certainly made me, pretty much a newbie in brewing, feel more confident about what it is I am doing. :)

Cheers,

Jens-Kristian
