I bottled my Brewferm IPA one week ago today. The beer is very dark and looks like mud (no clearness).

This is my first brew. Wondering if anyone has experienced this and can give me guidance.

Thanks!

There are many factors affecting beer clarity. But it is probably as simple as just waiting. Beers often taken a week or two before they clear in the bottle.

Store them upright. Once carbonated, chill for as long as you can.

Should eventually get bright in the bottle if it's just yeast sediment that hasn't settled out (likely). When it does, pour gently into a glass to serve and leave the last cm or two (discard or have in the second glass).

I would look at leaving your brew to rest in the bottle for a month before trying. This allows your beer to clear.

Place your bottle in the fridge 1 - 2 days before you intend drink. This helps stablise and firm up any sediment and yeast on the bottom of the bottle.

These are my experiences.

Mantical and Matplay are spot on
