Ha! My scientific brain instantly went to the equation for the volume of a cylinder and missed the simple option. Way to over complicate things, me.
 
If the area of your base was 1 square metre then i millimetre of depth would equal 1 litre
Area of your base is .14521998 M2 so 1 divided by .14521998 = 6.886.
Therefore one litre of liquid will be 6.886 millimetres deep.
I am sure you can work it out from there.
 
Each mm of liquid in your 430mm dia pot will be .1452 of a litre. So wash your stainless rule measure the height of your liquid in mm X .1452 answer in liters.Don't forget the point before the number.
