I have come across some fresh hersbrucker flowers. Suggestions for best use? I was thinking all in at flame out in a wheat or pils...? 16/3/17

Yeah wheat would be lovely, or as finishing in a German lager. I would use as bittering in the wheat, not flameout. Assuming you no chill?

SS Brewbucket... 225g dry hop... will this be okay without a hop sock? Beer is cold crashed. I don't want to block the tap or get too much hops through...

BM50L. Unpacking, dropped wing nut in vessel. Filled. Heated strike water. Mashed in. Where's the wing nut? FML.

It was a bit of an ordeal, but I used my transfer pump to pump the wort into another vessel, got the wing nut, and then pumped it back. Aargh! Went to bed after midnight hahaha.

I used to have a magnet on a stick! Not sure where it is... I was looking for it, must have lost it.

Going to brew an AG Hefeweizen soon. Cold crash after ferment, or keg while warm? Cold crashing seems like it would defeat the purpose in a hefe!?

Warner's wheat beer bok says that the Germna breweries lager the weizen for a few weeks after ferment. Seems silly to deny the commercial experience, unless your experience tells you otherwise

"why do you have to fill the entire bath tub? what a waste of water!" ... "because I don't have a wort chiller yet, remember I said I can recirculate back into the rain water tank so I won't be using anything?"
