Does anyone have a stash of empty White Labs yeast tubes they either don't want or willing to trade for beer or cashy monies?

I'm looking to do some splits of some yeasts and those containers are a pretty handy size. Failing that I guess I could buy and drink some Corona's... ;)

How many you need mate I have a few? Ive also got 50 mL tubes with screw cap which can be boiled. White labs plastic I'm not sure can be autoclaved or boiled?

How do you get the f!#*n label glue off them?

Damn - should have asked this question before I picked up those buckets!

Probaby looking for around a dozen or so all up. And no, you can't autoclave the white labs tubes... but you *might* get away with boiling the tubes (not lids).

Interested in the 50ml tubes... (what's the size white labs tubes - 20ml?)

Edit: I type too slow... reallly slow.

Dammit they are a bargain. I want to throw my pointy-bottomed & non-graduated ones away now.

Sorry, wrong linky above.

Same mob, but via Evilbay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/50-ml-Centrifuge-Tubes-PKT-50-Self-Standing-CT50S-Fusion-Scientific-/331280186788?pt=AU_Business_Industrial_Medical_Scientific_Equipment2&hash=item4d21d67da4

Less than 37c each, come sterile & ready to use, graduated, freestanding, autoclavable, freezable, re-usable......

Just how easily are you swayed????? :D
Like a dandelion... dammit! I still want to at least drink the coronas though.

The ones ive got are everything except sterile, bad choice on my part when I ordered 50 :S

Those tubes linked above are the bomb, they are my tube of choice for splitting yeast.
Want any more?

They do look good, but I don't need 50 of em. If someone is in the Knox/Ringwood area and wants to go halvies let me know.

Ages ago I bough 50 of the flat bottom ones similar to those linked and 50 round bottom ones, more like test tubes. I like that flat bottom ones best, may just buy another 50 and pass on the others.
When saving yeast 50 tubes will not go far.
