I have two brumby style taps, and am building a keezer following the death of my home made kegerator. Looks like the short shanks on the taps are too small to penetrate the keezer wall.

Before I go buy replacement shanks, thought I'd test the market here.

I had the same issue with my kegerator with a short length tap on sale from CraftBrewer. On the outside fridge wall I drilled the nominal size of the shank to pass through (say 20mm). On the inside of the fridge I drilled a much larger hole , say 50mm, so I could reach in and affix the nut.
