Hi everyone,

Can anyone share some experience or advice on using vanilla bean extract in their brews.

I've used beans soaked in vodka before. However, the missus used the last in cooking and I found this stuff in its place.

Basically can I use it? If yes how much in a 23L dark ale?

I have used it before. I added it straight into the keg. It took a while do dissolve into the beer, but it worked just fine in an oaked porter I brewed a while back.
 
id take a known about of the beer and add slowly a ml at a time and then work out when it tastes right. then scale up
