I ordered a liquid yeast monday week ago and due to a combination of factors was not able to pick it up from the post office until today.

Although the yeast had 2 cool packs in with it its probably been at room temp for a week. I smacked it this morning and was hoping to make a starter for sundays brew day.

Do ya reckon it will be OK?

I reckon go ahead and make your starter and just do the usual smell and taste test first.

hope its fine,
BB

It'll be fine, making a starter is always a good idea IMO with liquid yeasts anyway.

Agree, should be OK. people reculture from Coopers bottles all the time, and I doubt that they have been kept in the fridge continuously since they left the Cooper's factory....
