I'm about to do a Kolsch at the weekend and was thinking to get a nice clear beer I'll use Gelatin. However I'd like to keep and bottle the yeast from the fermenter to use a second time.
Do you see any issues separating out the yeast from the rest after I've racked off the beer as usual if I use Gelatin?

Can confirm I repitch yeast after using gelatin and it still kicks off just fine with no off flavours
I sometimes gelatin in keg, so there's no effect on the yeast at all

off topic but what recipe are you doing. I was thinking of doing a Kolch or something after my IPA this weekend

It's a Gordon Strong Kolsch recipe.
92% pilsner, 4% vienna, 4% crystal 20L
Hallertau first wort hop = 16 IBU
30 min Hallertau = 6 IBU
5 min Hallerau = ~ 2 IBU

Mash was 20 mins at 55c, 45mins at 63c, 20 mins at 70c, 10 mins at 76C.
90 min boil.
OG = 1.046
Yeast was the Kolsch liquid yeast although my brew shop didn't have any at the time so I went with the Wyeast 1007. It's currently sitting in the fermenter at 15c with a good looking Krausen on day 2.
Hopefully will turn out well with a bit of patience allowing it to condition.

Yes, don't do much pilsner myself but I like a good Kolsch and with summer coming thought it would be a good one to try.
