tv show bargain hunt/beer engine

g,day all,i am watching the pommie tv bargain hunt at the moment on 7two,2 of the contestants bought a twin beer engine for 20 pounds and it was valued by an expert that it would reach 30 pounds .sold for 45 pounds..
45 quid for a double beer engine...now that would be a bargain. ...cheers..spog.....

Have a look at ebay.co.uk mate. Single engines quite often go for 20 pounds but unfortunately those ones are usually pick up only. If you can get them to post it, it will be about 80 quid for a single engine though...
I'd hate to imagine the postage for a double.

and sadly no one wants to ship via sea freight, which would surely be cheaper

my missus loves that show and i sore that last night, did you notice the kid playing a game boy? must of been an old episode, surely those old style double beer engines would be worth more than 40 pound now a days
