Hey All,

I am Leaving this all too late. And yes a stupid question

To cut Christmas costs I have been brewed a few cartons of bottled homebrew to take back with me. All Good.....

Tomorrow I am going back to my home town for my Christmas Holidays and I have a 9 Hours drive ahead of me.

Wondering to myself if this is enough, I decided to just to mix up two Kit and Kilo beers.

So after primary, secondary and finning I transferred the beer into my last remaining kegs about 20 mins ago.

So the question is?

Should I force carb the kegs before transportation or just purge the oxygen out of the kegs.

Keep in mind that i live out west NSW and the temperature out here is around Mid 30's this time of the year.

I am a bit worried about the kegs getting too hot and completely ruining my backup beer.?.?.?.

And will the beer mature if the keg is carbed too green?

Plan on drinking this after the new year..

Any thoughts???

Just check the BOM the forecast is an expected 33 Degrees...

I'm chilling both kegs in the fridge now so hopefully they wont get too hot on the journey....
