Looking for answers as to why my recently brewed [two months ago] beer has a slightly chemical taste. Almost a burning sensation on the lips. I used Black Rock Pale Ale and Coopers Aussie Pale Ale with 40 gm Chinook hops boiled for 10 minutes. Followed all my previous clean and sanitise methodology, just forgot the water hardener as we have rainwater. Any ideas?

Thanks for that Thomas. I'm at work now and the link is blocked by our server so I'll give it a go at home . I can relate to the unusual taste I thought it was my wife's skin cancer cream!!
