Hi Guys, I have exhausted my googlefu in my pursuit of check valves that have threaded ends.
Ideally I want 1/4" BSP (dont really care gender) on one end and a 6mm barb on the other... but I realise that's even less likely to exist.
So have been looking for threaded on both ends.
Now, this is where it gets annoying. I have found plenty that match the above descriptions... BUT... they all have an opening pressure of >16 PSI which makes them useless for kegging.
So... does anyone know where to get lower pressure threaded check valves from?
For the imminent curiousness, I am planning on having a QD (nitto fittings) gas manifold in the fridge, the manifold will have the female, auto shut off, connections.
I want to make several lines that auto shut off on both ends (so a keg doesn't loose its pressure if I unplug at the manifold first) and also has the advantage of having idiot protection (so I don't fill my gas lines with beer).
The gas line I would be making is:
Male Nitto coupler
Check valve
hose
Ball Lock disconnect
