I'm itching to bust out three tester SMaSHes: American, German, English hop/yeast combos.

Hey NFH, can you tell us anything about the variety/varieties of barley you're using? I don't know much to begin with but am curious anyway.

This year is going to be gairdner as that is what is being grown. But next year I should be switching to Macquarie Barley which is a Tasmanian bred barley and a variety that I've been trialling this year. I'm really excited about this new variety as it is a cut above the other Australian varieties in terms of flavour.
