I've fallen in love with WLP023. It doesn't even think about forking around; it just gets straight down to the job of eating everything in sight!
 
The last ever kit brew I made I cut my finger on the can and bled a bit into the wort.

Tasted like ****.

Ferment in stainless pots and you'll never have that problem.
 
Hi,

Well the beer turned out just fine, so now I feel quite stupid after a loud yelling and cursing in the garage while the young bloke and missus tried to figure out the issue.

Its been ages since I used Irish 04 ale yeast and its dry finish for me doesnt suit this beer, even with the mash @ 68c. Still a ripper yeast that chewed through to FG within 4days.
