A couple of weeeks ago I was talking to someone here who had a sulphury smelling hef in the fermenter, and I was in the same boat, but I cant remember who, or find the old thread.
We had both used the Wyeast 3068 - Weihenstephan Weizen.
Well... anyway... Ive ran thru the process of bottling three of them and bringing them up to fizz.
Im happy.
And my wife is more happy.
There is a vague winey smell coming from the head, but that may be from the sugar in my boil.. dont know.
But certainly the sulphur smell has gone away and left us with the dry tasting, unusual scents one would expect from a bavarian hef.

Where does the sulphur smell go?
