WOuld using one of these to clean and sterilise brewing equipment work?

Got one.

Nup, basically they've got no grunt. OK for removing wall-paper though.

Could probably clean with them. However K'Archer type cleaners do a better job.

Anything like that with the temperature and pressure to be effective for steam sterilising would be far too dangerous to use, IMO.
