Got my stc 1000 wired up today(thanks to Nickjd) just wondering is the probe pretty accurate or do you need to calibrate them?

i have 3 .. were all within 0.5 degree
others have used ice water or a calibrated thermometer to adjust theirs

Mine was within 0.5degrees out of the box
If you are going to calibrate it do it at the temperature that you want to run it.

I think mine seems ok, don't have anything fermenting at the moment, just got it taped to a fermenter filled with water
