Hey all,
I am after glass bottles of both the stubby and long neck varieties. Someone in the swing top bottle topic mentioned cospak. I am on predominantly PET but buying glass in bulk makes it more viable. I think PET lacks the gravitas that a glass bottle bring :chug:
The details are as follows - Cospak:
http://www.cospak.com.au/products.asp?GroupID=100
330ml Amber - pack of 52 - $25.62
http://www.cospak.com.au/productdetails.asp?ProductID=14161
650ml Amber - pack of 28 - $21.65
http://www.cospak.com.au/productdetails.asp?ProductID=13310
375ml Swingtop bottles
http://www.cospak.com.au/products.asp?GroupID=111
I would much rather buy them full than empty but I do need some pretty soon. Cospak (in Minto) need a minimum invoice of $110 and I can't justify that on my expense account for a hobby that was ok-ed ostensibly to save money.
EDIT: There is another alternative at Milperra I have found out.
Plasdene: http://www.plasdene.com.au/homebrewbottles.htm
They are more expensive on 640ml but cheaper on 330ml than Cospak.
Both come in trays of 12. There is a minimum spend of $50.
330ml Amber - $0.3724 each bottle. (Cospak comparison 52 = $19.36)
650ml Amber - $1.0497 each bottle. (Cospak comparison 28 = $29.39)
Details to be sorted later but let me know if anyone is interested. Also if anyone has experience buying here before or knows of some place better let me know.
