Hello All,

Just took a gravity reading of my brew and its at final gravity. I think its been ready for about 3 days now but ive just left it hoping it would clear up, it has some sludgy looking stuff ontop that I havent seen or experienced before as all of my previous brews finish clear.

This is also the first time ive used this yeast so I understand it could be normal for the yeast also. Details of the brew-

All DME brew
Hops boiled for 60 mins (saaz)
Wyeast Weihenstephan yeast pitched at 14c and allowed to rise to 20c
Temp controlled @ 20c ferment

I tried the sample used for the gravity reading and while its full of trub it smells and tastes fine so I'm not thinking its infected.

Cheers

Looks like yeast. A cold crash if it has reached Fg will help the yeast drop.
