My brother inlaw and Co toured Berlin and Czech earlier this year and he bought these back.
I'm heading home tomorrow ,so the question is,
Should I bung these two beauties in my suit case ? ;).
The bastard rubbed it in by telling me about the tour of the Budvar brewery, all the while with a **** eating grin on his face.

In your carry on yes, case hell no! I had a lovely stein I bought from a second hand shop in Berlin, packed it very carefully in my case and the handle still got busted off, they treat cases worse than garbos treat wheelie bins.

The case is the problem, this trip I'm using a soft skin case, over the years I've bought quite a few glasses, mugs and steins home packed with socks etc and wrapped in bubble wrap and all made it in one piece, but that was a hard shell case.
I think I will let him keep them, although they would certainly look better in my display cabinet than his,the lucky bugger.
