does anyone out there have any info on setting up the necessary equipment to mash all i can seem to find on the internet is photos of other setups even some information on how to do it would be great

For real? There is information everywhere here.

Regardless, for more "tailored" advice you'd better mention which method of brewing you're inclined to follow. More than one way to do it.

You might be better served by letting people know where you are located and seeing if you can score an invite to a brewday.

Depends on what's achievable (space, your plumbing skills, your desire to tinker, your budget etc) - so many different ways to do it. Pick one and people will help you through it. Most important thing is understanding the process although actually doing it helps cement that.

There is also a thread on "stovetop" brewing, that whilst it has copped a little flak, is definitely a good demonstration on how simple it can be. Not sure where it is... I'm sure you can search for it.
