Rumour - New Darwin Brewery

Just had my folks over for dinner and they said they met a guy yesterday who is spending $30M setting up a new brewery in Darwin. they were light on the details but that is pretty normal.

anyone know any more goss?

$30m sounds like a shi-ite load more than required to produce 1500-3000 litre per week as the link suggests, $1m would be plenty. Would have to be a pretty big operation for a $30m expenditure.

Darwin real estate is through the roof so if buying an established outlet to add on a micro the sum is feasable.Especially if its in mitchell street region.
