Sad to hear of the passing of the great Frank Hyde this morning. He made the weekend footy come to life with his broadcast on the radio. 91 is a pretty good innings, obviously helped along by his passion for brewing his own beers!

Didn't know Frank was a H'Ber, but I was very sad to hear of his passing today. A big part of my childhood growing up listening to the footy anfd hearing his calls... A great Australian who will be sadly missed... As Frank himself used to sing "Oh Danny Boy... The pipes the pipes are calling..."
