I have just pulled out my kegs which I had sitting in my fridge and they have a musty smell inside. I have dismantled and reassembled them washing with brewers detergent (rinsed couple of times) and also swirled some white viniger around to.
They still have a slight musty smell inside.
What can I use to eradicate the odour?
Also there is a bit of mould on the plastic top/handle area.
What can I safely remove it with?
