I was wondering if anyone had any advice or alterations to the below recipe.
2.22 kg Gladfield Pilsner Malt (3.8 EBC)
1.64 kg Gladfield Vienna Malt (6.8 EBC)
1.15 kg Gladfield Aurora Malt (58.0 EBC)
541.6 g Gladfield Red Back Malt (65.0 EBC)
328.3 g Gladfield Shepherds Delight Malt (300.0 EBC)
40.0 g Tettnang (Tettnang Tettnager) [4.0%] - Boil 60 min
20.0 g Tettnang (Tettnang Tettnager) [4.0%] - Boil 15 min
1 pkgs Bohemian Lager (Mangrove Jack's #M84)
Notes
Add Shepherds delight with 10mins mash remaining.
(Do I need 1 or 2 packs of yeast?)
Thinking about brewing on the long weekend as I have a gap where I can afford to dedicate a fridge to a lager for 6 or more weeks, and I’ve got a bunch of Red Back and Shepherds Delight to use up.
I’m actually not normally a big lager fan (although I quite like Wayward's Fusami Victory) but I want to have a try at a lager and see if home made is better.
This was initially going to be a Vienna Lager but now it isn’t according to BeerSmith. I’m ok with it not being a comp beer. Just want something drinkable for summer.
Making with a Robobrew and fermentasaurus w/ pressure kit. Kegging after.
