Leg Bar Ale

Ale - English Pale Ale
All Grain

Brewer's Notes

Grain Bill.
5.4kg BB pale.
300g Wheat.
200g Crystal.
100g Oats.
17g Roast Barley.

90 Min mash, in at 68 and out at 65 degrees.
Heat to 75 with bag out and put bag in + stir.
Drain bag then poor 1.5 litres of 80 degree water through grain.
Bring to boil for 90 min boil.
Hops.
60 min - 35g cascade, 5g saaz, 30g chinook flowers.
40 min - 20g cascade, 20g chinook flowers.
20 min - 20g cascade.
5 min - 20g cascade.
0 min - 20g saaz.
Use imersion chiller then ice.
OG1056, Pitch safale 05 on 28.3.10 and in fridge at 18 degrees.
Not sure how to work out efficiency yet.
