Brewer's Notes

Add 6,5L 58C water to malts > 50 C 20min
Add 6,0L 93C water to mash > 68 C 90min
Add 8,5L 89C water to mash > 76 C 10min

Use bittering hops with FWH method and sparge with 10 L 76C water.
Ferment somewaht 18C.
Original grains was Viking Malt products.
Pale ale, wheat and crystal 100.

Good recipe.

I have used Weyermanns Premium Pilsner Malt for a couple of brews and if you want a brew pale, it doesn't get much paler than that. It looks like water that's been tinged with a tiny bit of colour. Fantastic base malt though.

How did you find the First Gold hops? I've never tried them and would be interested in an opinion as to flavour and aroma. At the moment, I'm using bold american hops, but would like to expand my repetoire of English hops, as EKG are the only ones I really use.

First Gold are my favorite hop of choice for engish beers.

Because I live Finland thats is natural choise =).
I quess they will send anywhere but swedish woud be a bit difficuld to understand, even with us who read it in school few years ;)

Those prices are swedish krowns and 1 SEK is about 0.15 AUD
So 229 SEK ~35 AUD
