Hi guys,

I've got a couple of Tins of amber extract to use up, has anyone got any recipes that use amber that are worth making?

There is a world of options dude. Just run it through the kits and extracts spreadsheet.
2 tins would be what, about 3.4kg of liquid malt, add your bittering and aroma hops and you should be on your way.
Add some DME to bump up your ABV if you wish.

Good luck with it !

Have you thought about an Amber Ale?

US version with Willamette and any other US hop, US05 yeast, or your choice of liquid. I've made some good ones with Denny's Favourite 50 yeast.

UK version with Fuggles, EKG, Styrians, etc, and a UK yeast that doesn't dry your beer out too much.

Thanks guys i'll check out the spreadsheet and see if i can come up with something nice!
