Purchased off EBay a few months back. It was listed as refurbished from the UK. It has a musty smell to the beer that I haven't been able to get rid of. All of it seems to work fine. You could use it for parts or figure out how to clean it properly. $30 firm

Did you try dismantling and cleaning it? There isn’t much to them you should be able see the problem if you pull it apart.
