ok I figure this is beer related because it mentions that the normal serve of beer is a 2L stein (and its cheap). But the draw is the snitzel and sausages. have a look at these bad boys. Im posting this after another AHB member sent it too me (Roota).

ok just realised it didnt attach the file. its a powerpoint and not allowed. I'll see if I can locate it on the web.

EDIT

But would anyone be able to finish one? I don't want to sound like the fun Police but I can feel my arteries hardening now...

bro eat slow and stop when your full.

your arteries will be fine.

howdy mates,

not only in Germany one can get a giant meal. About 20 years ago, or even more, Ive been in Mackay in the Hotel Austral. They were famous for serving the best and largest Steaks in the whole area.

Me, as a real steak lover, ordered a large one:

I knew almost nobody would believe me if I would tell about that, so I took the menu with me.

Cheers :icon_cheers:

btw. almost nobody left the restaurant without a doggy bag ;)

Anyone seen how big the parma's were at The Lounge in Melb? they used to be the size of the whole plate with a layer of chips underneath the snitzel and a seprate bowl for salad. I say used to cause they got a new chef in and it all changed. Granted they were never as big as those pictures but we used to smash those down once a week when we played there everyweek.

What did we learn from eating so may masisve parma's?

The way we see it you have 20mins from when you start eating to get down as much as you can before the "fullness" of the tummy starts to set in. We would abolish a whole parma in chips in about 20-25. My mates who's 6 foot 6 and grew up with three hungry brothers (if you left your food on the table it was gone) can down one of the Lounge's parma's in 15mins, leaving enough time for his salad and a beer.
