They're proposing that everything be taxed under a blanked taxation scheme.
Which would be fantastic if they took from the low-tax industries (wine) and gave to the high-tax industries (beer) ... but they won't, they'll just tax them all at the highest rate.

Doesn't bug me a bit. I buy beer for research purposes only. If it goes up by 20% I don't care.

If they start taxing raw ingredients for homebrewers then I'm afraid I'll have to clean out the old .303 and go postal. That sexy redhead will be spared though because I reckon she'd be good in the sack.

"Blanked"? How did I manage that?

Yeah, I'm the same with my purchases. Cost is never a factor.

Hey one point that hasn't been raised, if the party kids suddenly go onto Merlot or Shiraz to pre-load on a Friday, will the Distillers Chemical Brothers then demand that wines be taxed as RTDs?
They will drink a recent new alcoholic beverage that is 7%, sold in stubbies and made from wine, not spirits so will avoid the RTD tax. It is NZ sauvignon blanc that has had grape juice added back to it to both dilute the alcohol and make it horribly sweet. They sell it for a lot more than they can the wine by marketing it to their target audience. Not sure if this has made it to Australia yet, it is in NZ.

Oh, I'm agreeing with you Doc - just doing it in that annoying way I always do where it sounds like I'm not.
I actually laughed at that.

Have you noticed that the models in specs ads invariably:

Have faces like horses to reduce the "chinless wonder" look that specs tend to give
All have exactly the same nose.
I doubt if you bumped into one those 'models' in the street you'd even recognize them due to the amount of shopping applied to ad's nowadays.

I actually don't mind the look of stylish eye ware on a girl.

Except the orange roughy. I simply find her unattractive on multiple levels. Negatively charismatic if you will.

Just noticed the wall, she's obviously going into Russian Porn as a new career.

And who exactly when watching porn is checking out the furnishings!

It's all about the outfits and decor.

Anything else is a nice (and notable) inclusion.

Outfits yep. Props YEP! decor meh...
But we digress...

Is this a fill in the blanks puzzle?

I think I know the missing phrase and the answer.

blank puzzle is Bribie is getting on and watches too much russian porn, and the answer is "Sell her too fkning Russia" Good riddance

Makes sense.
I understand she's on a conference call here with Peter Slipper and Craig Thompson.

Or instructing Tim to put her dinner in the oven on low.
