Well snow is pouring down in my neck of the woods,
so great time to get a pilsner down and as I`ve nerver done one before a
bit of help would be great

proposed recipe

1.5kg Xlight dry malt
1.5kg black rock unhopped light (goo)
250g c15 cystal malt
Saaz hops

wyeast #2001 pilsner urq or
wyeast #2124 bohemian lager

Questions

Will the addition of c15 cystal add to much colour for a pilsner? I realize getting a true pilsner
through extract could be difficult, balancing colour, body and taste.
I figure 250gm might be ok can live with a slightly darker than normal pilsner.

All my hops are ale hops bar the saaz, I like mine on the bitter side so looking for
a bitterness of around 35-40 at the max end for a pilsner
Advise on hop schedule needed.
my pc wont let me use the spreadsheet? was working now it wont? until I get that sorted any help woulod be great.

cheers

If you can get hold of some carapils / dextrin malt that would be more appropriate, or you could just go with something like rice syrup instead if you want it to finish drier.
