Evening all,

I have a Crown Urn and have connected a hop bazooka to the ball valve. I'm finding that I am being left, on average, with around 2.5 litres of trub.

I use a hop sock although if I have multiple additions I only use it for the first @60 (I am getting a hop spider at weekend) and 1/2 whirflock tablet @10 and also try a whirlpool @0. I'm finding that because of the height of the outlet that I am not getting everything, I also find that the bazooka is getting blocked up.

I'm wondering if I made a pick up and then another connection to the bazooka if that would work better.

My thoughts at the moment are compression joint on the ball valve to pipe and then pipe bent down and round to base with another compression joint to take pipe to bazooka.

Q's, Is brass OK, would chrome plated be better if I cannot get SS?, and, is it work keeping the bazooka or just take the pipe to the edge of the urn

Cheers,
James
