Hoppy American Pale Ale
Would this work as a recipe? This is my first attemp at deriving a recipe
1.7 kg LME unhopped can
0.3 Wheat at 1.77 Lovibond
0.3 kg Crystal Malt at 45 Lovibond (can this be mashed?)
0.5 kg Munich malt at 8 Lovibond
1.4 kg two row pale malt at 3 lovibond
FG 1.056
Mash (2L per kg)- 67C sacch rest @70mins, 77C Mash out @15min and sparge with 80C water
Hops
0.01 kg Chinook (13%AA) 60mins
0.01 kg Cascade (5.9%AA) 30mins
0.03 kg Splat (4.5%AA) 15mins
0.03 kg Cascade (5.9%AA) 5mins
IBU 48.7
WYeast#2112@18C
Any suggestions?
