The bodyless character you speak of will thin and balance a dextrinous wort though. It is or at least used to be common practise.

Absolutely will balance a dextrinous wort, all depends on your aim and final abv/FG. The intended use for the intended target. Adjust accordingly.

1/2 tablet of Whilfloc is generally added 5min before the end of the boil instead of the 1 tablet at 15. I remember reading about a chap on another forum calling the manufacturer to confirm.

Aside from ditching the acid malt (unless you are measuring pH) I don't think you really need to change anything. My preference would be to adjust amount of Vienna and possibly change up the hop schedule for next batch, but you don't know what you prefer until you brew it.
