G'day,

My first post here in a LONG time.

I put down my first brew in about five years not long ago, currently have it sitting in secondary and will be bottling it next Friday. It is a pale ale and, when it comes to bottling, will be bulk primed. My question is: how many grams of sugar per litre should I use? I seem to remember there are different amounts to suit different styles, so I was just wondering what would be the best amount for a pale ale.

Cheers!

There is a carbonation calculator here - the style drop down menu has a suggested carbonation range for various styles.

Apart from that it's personal taste.

To change to metric just enter your value and add a c for celcius and an L for litres. For 'temperature at bottling' just put hottest ferment temp or hottest secondary temp - whichever is highest. If it's been constant trhoughout just use that temp.
