I agree they were ideal and it's a shame they aren't available, the adaptor was developed for Sodastream bottles for exactly the purpose of getting portability and that option is still available if anyone local to you stocks Sodastream.

Just ***** me that well my local woollies now wants $14.95 to exchange 330g of CO2 so they are charging dam near $45/Kg, Bunning's was a bit better at only $30/Kg and if it upsets Mark^Bastards delicate constitution; tough that so often retailers here get slaged out even when they are only trying to be helpful, and while offering the same service at about half the price of a national retailer. Guess there's no pleasing some people.

i totally agree, i support my lhb wherever possible but somethings just aint available to us country folk ;) the keg charger may be the only option for portability but for 12 bucks to dispense 1 keg , it's cheaper to buy takeaway :(

Cleaned up thread.

hey this could be a better solution to the standard keg charger bike kit
has a crude type of regulator and takes 16gm cartridges, does anyone know what thread is on a threaded quick disconnect as this suits schrader type valves?
might be a better way of regulating?

I picked up one of the cylinder from Bunnings a while ago for $15... they only charged me the refill price :D

It works well with a sodastream adaptor and a normal regulator.

So is it supposed to be a swap and go system? I just stuck 2 in the trolley last week. They had to look up the price but no-one mentioned an exchange.

Cheers

Campbell
