Hello All, I've got a keg king kegerator and have been using the CO2 in to an inverted keg process to carbonate. I've been following the instructions for this process and all seems ok. However when I pour from the tap at about 10psi (my usual setup) it's over carbonated.

Any suggestions as to the cause?
And how do I decarbonate the beer in the keg?

Thanks

if it is overcarbed, give it a shake and release/purge the excess co2 (if you have a pressure relief valve)

Drop it to 5 and see how it goes. 10psi is not a rule of thumb
If it is actually overcarbonated and you drop to 5 psi it may pour a little slower but will make it worse as you will have less pressure trying to hold the gas in the beer. I suppose you could argue it decarbonates your beer while you are drinking.

Have you left the beer line from your keg to tap long ie 2+ metres?
Does it seem like it is pouring too fast?

Shaking kegs around to carbonate is very hit and miss if you ask me.
