Hi There,

Old murphy again, out of gas for first time in nearly 2 years and HBS is closed today.

I opened up the keg to put more sealant as I tought it was leaking a bit.

Went to refill and no gas.

I connect other keg is it will fill a little with equalization, so I assume there is a layer of CO2,

Will that be enough to protect from oxygen as it is heavier and should cover over.. full so small head space.

Cheers

Once the pressure has equilised very little air/cos will pass the seal as there is virtually no pressure to force it. Temp variation may cause minimal pressure changes. I would just leave it.

I tested the pressure from presure release valve, there is a bit in there and is in the fridge..
