The recent excesses of the "What's in your glass thread (commercial)" has made me determined to taste new beers from far away places.

I am after recommendations for any good online beer sellers with a range of imported beers from the US and Europe.

No affiliation and have only used the brick and mortar stores.

Purvis is a great store. If you're into the belgians and french canadian stuff then some of the best range I've seen.

Here's another one with pretty good range too - they have a good reputation for stocking good czech, polish and russian beers here in melb, but stock plenty of everything.
It's another Melbourne store with online store setup based in St Kilda.

Acland St Cellars

No affiliation to either,

Hopper.

Seconded'd!

They do discounts for orders of 12 or more bottles of beer.
Excellent range, which is why I don't like browsing their website because it gets too tempting.

No affiliation, etc, etc...

My order from Acland St Cellars was placed over a week ago, but I don't think the beer has even been dispatched yet. I emailed tham about this today, haven't heard back yet.
These guys sent almost immediatley: http://www.adelaidebiershop.com.au/home.php Would recommend tham to anyone.

If you want to try some beers that may not be so widley available, from bricks and mortar stores or online, in Australia try Beermasons, but they can be a touch expensive.

Becoming a Beermasons member is also a good way to try a number of brews from around the world that you can't easily get your hands on otherwise.

Now, where do I start...

Go with the 4 pines, I really liked their stout & am looking forward to giving the rest a run

Hmm, good idea Philthy, it's good @ room temp!
Actually, it's a Brubar.
From the BM blurb: "These healthy little bars were inspired by all grain home brewing. (The original recipe also included hops - not so successfully, unfortunately!) We love the idea of a beer inspired energy bar filled with malty goodness. Inventors James and Christian are still avid home brewers and are VERY chuffed that their bars are featuring in your beer club pack".

Mmm. It was actually quite tasty. :)

Decided to cellar the Saison De Lente and one each of the Belgians.
Think I'll try the Moylans Irish Red Ale tonight.

The Red is also the first on my list to try tonight. Didn't mind the brubar, don't think I'd bother buying any though.
