Would love to do this, but being a computer n00b i don't know how to get to the 'directory'. Please assist.
Go to where you installed Brewmate, probably in the C drive. For some reason mine isn't in the "program files" folder it just sits in the c drive when you open it (I was lazy that day). When you are in the Brewmate app folder click on the recipes folder and all of your recipes are in an .xml formats which you can double click to open, if it doesn't work in explorer right click and "open with" and try a different browser.

Thank you, i think i may be able to do that.

It don't work for me :(
IE - just the writing along the top
FF - Error in opening file

Same with opera.

Oh well.

I find it does work with the recipes I put in there but not the recipes that are already in there.... weird!

For those who are having trouble viewing the XML files in IE, try putting your browser in "compatibility view"

Do a quick google search if you need help with compatibility view.

Thanks,

Ben

A new version.....v1.24 Brewmate is available for download.
Included in this version is the ability print the recipe page that is on the main web-site without having to download the recipe first.
The new version......click on file >export to file>HTML>save. The page will show the recipe format, the one with the beer glass, click on your browser print this page and away you go.

Thanks Nala. Since going to Windoze 7 I was dissapointed to see that the method in my OP doesnt work. Good on Rob to upgrade.

Cheers Vaanderal

Used to print all brewmate recipes out through IE with the nice beer in the top corner. Must have updated IE without knowing as the only thing i use it for is this. Put all websites in compatability mode and presto its back.

Only have Mac's in our house, about to trial the latest Beersmith 2 which is compatible with Mac's. Not free though :(
