Hey guys im about to do a Nice Newcastle style red next ,just wondering if anyone knows of a good recipe
were gonna do an extract,in a 50lt batch,cheers

Try Aidens Irish Red in the recipes you can call it what you like it will still be nice

Im not sure if carared would be much good as a steeping grain, but to get the red colour and the malt flavours that go with it i tihnk this would be worth looking into. some steeped dark crystal malt would help to give the caramel/toffee falvours.

they may be hard to find among home brew stores, but Ross (Craftbrewer) should have it.
