Newcastle newbie

Hi all..

long time lurker, first time poster...

Just recently got into biab after a very long hiatus from doing the old kit brews..

I did my 1st biab last week and made a few beginner mistakes...but hopefully i think ill end up with something drinkable in the end (well fingers crossed anyway).

Be great if there are any local newcastle area brewers that i could potentially bend their ear for advice etc...

this forum has been a great help..

Hey mate, welcome!!

Check out Hunter United Brewers, they're at the bottom of the forum main page.

They meet every third friday of the month at the Hamilton North bowlo.

I've only been twice but they're a good bunch of blokes with a heap of experience between them.

That is a long time lurk - over 2 years between join date and first post.

True Lord Raja, but i have only really been using the site since moving up here (newcastle)....so lurk time is down to about 4 months
