Just to update the thread on where this beer got to.
This was the beer I made on Sunday the 14th.
Seven Seas Gold IPA
OG - 1.062
ABV - 6.2%
EBC - 10
IBU - 85
BU/OG Ratio - 1.37
Malts
Premium Pilnser Malt - 95% (Weyermann)
Crystal 10 - 5% (Weyermann Carahell)
Hops
Magnum (AA13.2%) - 28g @ 60m = 30Ibu
7C's (AA8.5%) - 60g @ 20m = 35Ibu
7C's (AA8.5%) - 60g @ 10m = 20Ibu
Dry Hopping - 84g of 7C's for 5 days in secondary.
Mash Schedule
20c/20m - 62c/10m - 67c/45m - 78c/20m
Expected Final Gravity 1.017
Yeast
1.3lt starter of Wyeast 1272 - picthed into wort oxygentated pure O2 @ 17c
The 7C's hop combo is from the LHBS which is like falconers flight and has all the C hops combined together.
